Eminem Debuts at Number One with Eleventh Album, Griff and Travis Score Top Ten Hits

Eminem Joins Elite Group with New Album; Griff and Travis Achieve Top Ten Success, While Cigarettes After Sex and Clairo Make Notable Chart Entries

Eminem tops the charts with his eleventh number one album, *The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)*. Selling 45,000 copies this week, he joins legends David Bowie, Taylor Swift, and U2, all of whom have also had 11 number one albums.

Eminem’s previous chart-topping successes include *The Marshall Mathers LP* (2000), *The Eminem Show* (2002), *Encore* (2004), *Curtain Call: The Hits* (2005), *Relapse* (2009), *Recovery* (2010), *The Marshall Mathers LP 2* (2013), *Revival* (2017), *Kamikaze* (2018), and *Music To Be Murdered By* (2020).

Meanwhile, Griff, the former BRITs breakthrough artist, lands at number three with her debut studio album, *Vertigo*. This achievement follows her 2021 EP *One Foot In Front of The Other*, which reached number four. To mark the occasion, the singer-songwriter and musician was honored with an Official Top 10 Award from the Official Charts.

Speaking to the Official Charts, Griff said: “The support from each of you has been an incredible journey. It means so much to me that you bought the album, listened to it, and streamed it. Your support is invaluable, and I can’t wait to see you on tour to share this album together.”

Scottish band Travis scores their tenth Top 10 with *LA Times* (4) and also tops the Official Record Store Chart. Additionally, London singer-songwriter Cat Burns enters the Top 10 with *Early Twenties* (7), her debut album.

On the outskirts of the Top 10, American dream pop band Cigarettes After Sex achieves their highest ranking to date with *X's*, reaching 12th place and dominating the Official Vinyl Albums Chart. Just behind, Atlanta-born Clairo makes her first Top 40 appearance with *Charm*.

Finally, Travis Scott’s album *Utopia* re-enters the Top 40 (38) after two UK concerts this week, and John Lennon’s solo album *Mind Games* (1973) finishes at 39th place, after originally reaching 13th upon its release.
